I sell vintage textiles. I specialise in vintage children's fabrics, quilting fabrics and nostalgia but you'll also find Tintin cotton and 50's kitchen fabrics in the shop. All my fabrics are salvaged/recycled and 100% cotton. I collect them, sell them and use them to make quirky bags, gifts and home wares so they can live on in modern homes. So I stitch and print and create quilts, gifts and pieces of home decor which I hope will go on for another 40 or 50 years.
Fabric is an expensive and time consuming thing to produce so it makes sense to prolong its life for as long as possible.
If you are looking for special pieces of lace or vintage french buttons I stock those too. You'll also find tips for making and researching fabrics in the blog.
Colour makes me happy - the brighter the better!
I'm based in Brighton, a seaside town in the south of the UK and I make everything in a studio at the bottom of my garden.
